Maintenance Notice - Mar.31

Hi, Badlanders!

To provide a better gaming experience for you, we will conduct a server maintenance and game update on Mar.31, 10:30am (UTC+8).

During the maintenance, you can join the combat as usual. However, some in-game functions will be temporarily unavailable and you cannot create new roles.

Thank you for your active participation in this test of Badlanders and your valuable feedback.

 

The following are the update details:

 

[Shelter Scene Upgrade]

In order to bring you a better gaming experience, in this update we have made major changes and upgrades to the [Shelter] scene, mainly including the following:

1. The new outdoor style, we have improved the performance of trees and grass and the distribution density in the scene, making the scene more natural;

2. New indoor light and shadow effects. We have redesigned the indoor light and shadow effects of each building to make it more in line with the actual indoor visual experience;

3. We repainted the exterior walls of some buildings to improve their color performance and recognition;

After the update, if you encounter any scene problems in the game, please give us feedback in time, thank you.

 

[Shelter's Day and Night Changes]

This time we also added the "Scene Day and Night" period function in the test in the [Shelter] scene. When you enter the matching game, in addition to the original "noon" scene period, there will be a probability of "Twilight" and "Night". Hope the two new scene periods to bring you a brand new combat experience. In the future, we will continue to improve the period function and its supporting gameplay.

 

[Easter Event]

1. [Easter Event] will be on after maintenance, which will last to 2021.04.20 24:00 (UTC+8)

2. During the event, complete sign in, specific log in and festival missions to obtain festival item: Easter Hammer and Developer.

3. From after maintenance to Apr. 27th 24:00 (UTC+8), [Easter Hammer] can be used to redeem festival limited Skin Carnival Mask and other supplies.

4. [Treasure Hunt Event] will be on at the same time. There are 7 puzzle tasks, the content of them is invisible at the start. Each task corresponds to 9 clue pictures. For every item [Photographic Developer] consumed, 1 clue picture can be unlocked. When all 9 pictures are unlocked, or when the task is completed, the task text will be displayed.

5. Complete the puzzle tasks to obtain the reward [Easter Golden Egg. After each golden egg is used, there is a probability to get a group of Dyeing Capsule Box of different colors (50 per group).

6. Easter-limited [Dyeing Capsule Box] manufacturing is available in the Workshop. After use, it will be automatically consumed when attacking to change the shooting effect of bullets. Capsule items are holiday-limited and will expire at 24:00 (UTC +8) on May 31, 2021, and will be automatically converted into ingame cash at a ratio of 1:50.

7. Until Apr. 20th, 2021 24:00 (UTC+8), [Photographic Developer] can be used to redeem festival limited supplies. After the Easter Event is over, the unused Easter Hammer will be automatically converted into ingame cash at a ratio of 1:100.

8. From Apr. 21st 0:00 to Apr. 27th 24:00 (UTC+8), [Easter Hammer] will be available in the Store. After the exchange is over, the unused Easter Hammer will be automatically converted into ingame cash at a ratio of 1:100.

 

[New Items In Store]

1. After the maintenance, new camouflage P18-Holo Foil will be on sale in Skin Store. P18-Holo Foil will be on a discount event until April 30th.

2. [Fixative-Desert] has been permanently on the shelves and can be used to make new Custom camouflage [Desert].

3. [Fixative-Easter] will be available in the Store for a limited time (Sale time: March 31-April 30, 2021) and can be used to make new Custom camouflage [Easter].

4. [Dyeing Capsule Group] will be available in the Store for a limited time (Sale time: March 31-April 27, 2021) and can be used to make festival item [Dyeing Capsule Box].

 

[New Additions]

1. Broadcast information about knockdowns and kills in the battlefield within the team;

2. Team chat in the battlefield, and you can preset frequently used shortcut information in the settings;

3. Automatically converting speech into text under the language settings of Chinese and English;

 

[Adjustments]

1. The relationship between the transparency of the footstep sound icon on the minimap and the actual sound level;

2. The prompt signs of teammates in the battlefield when they are beyond the field of view and beyond the display range of the minimap;

3. The display effect of firearms in the battlefield under smooth play and smooth picture quality;

4. The screening function, information prompt, application function, etc. of the team system to make related operations and prompts clearer and more convenient;

5. The interface adaptation and click sound effects of the team system;

6. Some interface interaction and display effects in the game;

 

[Fixes]

1. The problem that the entry effect of reload acceleration is displayed incorrectly on the "Reload Time" of the firearm;

2. An issue where the water lines were displayed abnormally when the character took off in some shallow water areas;

3. The problem that some special positions in the [Red Beach Base] scene will cause the character to get stuck and unable to move.
